Sega GT is an all around good racing game with a few "miner" problems miner meaning in opinion because some people have disliked this game a lot but sickwake thinks it is an ok game, granted it falls way short of gran turismo 2 but that’s is ok because the game in my "OPINION" is worth buying if you are a racing game fan. The only real problems with this game are the control and the sound. The control is kind of sluggish and the breaks on the cars might as well not even be there but, when you make it around a corner doing 150 who needs breaks and a 1474 HP viper rocks. Any way the sound well the sound was ok if you like MIDI music unlike gran turismo 2 which chose to play band music like rob zombie which sickwake likes better because the music in SGT is pretty much the same as any other video game no fun to listen to in fact you would probably be better off turning the music off.

The games modes out do the bad stuff so the bad stuff can suck it any way the modes are cool and actually challenging. First you have to buy a used car to start and then you are on you way to making money to buy a better car to kick butt. After you buy your car you can upgrade it the only thing sickwake wishes for is a car parts shop so you can buy stuff like fender flairs hood scoops and spoilers maybe gran turismo 3, but anyway if your car has a super charger you can upgrade that and new muffler, suspension kit, weight reductions, tires and rims (cool), and transmission. These upgrades will greatly effect the performance of the car and will either make them easier to control or harder to control like the viper, Sickwake thought it was easier to control after all the mods then when he started. Also you can change the softness/hardness of your tires and change the angle that they are touching the ground at (also cool).

The races them selves are very competitive the other drivers will run into you to slow you down that is also a problem because quite often when they run into you it almost seems like a bug in the game because sometime the cars goes shooting out in front of you and that sucks big time. This game really fun trying to beat the opponent and trying to keep your car under control (fun) and bettering you best time. You can also earn licenses to go on to bigger races with GT style cars and more of an official race type environment, also you can win new cars and car bodies for the custom shop. Ah yes the custom shop where you can choose the engine, drive train style (front back or 4WD), where the engine is located (front mid or back), the body of the car there are a lot of them and you can earn more you can also choose the color of the cars.
